Addding an External Speaker
I bought this BT speaker a couple of years ago for field use specifically because in addition to Bluetooth, it has the 3.5mm AUX connector so you can plug it into a device like an MP3 player or radio.

Iambic Paddles with CW Decoder?
If it wasn't a Morserino, is think it was in sideswiper mode. Because that's how a sideswiper works. It's a mechanical keying method that doesn't make dots or dashes for you. But I strongly suspect it

If your sending fist is just a little too anticipatory, there may be a brief, unintended moment where you're making contact with both paddles. This looks to the keying circuit like you're using a true

New Morserino Build
Ok, I cheated when I dealt with this. I put BOTH a Molex AND a JST connector on the Morserino. That way, regardless of my source of batteries, I could connect them properly. JST seem to be more popula

I had to look twice, to see if that was actually a LoRA contact, which would be truly amazing at that distance, but it wasn't, it was on WiFi. I have to wonder how that was accomplished -- did the guy

I just pushed a piece of closed-cell foam in there too hold the paddles down. Required use of a pocket knife. Could have used scissors, but they keep hiding, and I had the knife in my pocket. 73, Gwen

The Morserino is a Morse code tutor, not a dedicated keyer. You can get a keyer, kit or assembled, for about $15 USD on eBay.
