Bug fix release 3.0.1

Willi, OE1WKL

There were a few small bugs, and some minor improvements to make … ;-) Manual has been updated accordingly.

Changes V3.0.1 (Bug fix release)

Bug fixes:

  • After doing a "Check WiFi" a subsequent File Upload or Firmware Update showed IP address "0.0.0.0" and failed. Fixed.
  • If you selected a maximum word length or abbreviation length of 6 for CW Generator modes, it actually responded as if the length was set to Unlimited. This bug has been around for a long time, has only been detected recently. Fixed.

Feature Changes:

  • Wifi Trx uses now port 7373 also for outgoing packets. This should make crossing NAT firewalls a bit easier in some cases.
  • You can now also set a DNS host name instead of an IP address for your WiFi Trx peer. Unresolvable host names, as well as illegal IP addresses, are replaced by the broadcast address.
  • When starting Wifi Trx, you will see the actual peer IP address (or "IP Broadcast") on the display for a moment.

Ah.
As it is a patch release, the binary was just replaced (so it still has version no 3.0 in the repository). Just download the newest version and update the Morserino,
The correct version no (3.0.1) will be shown on teh display.
