Case for Morserino

David Wilcox

I bought a recommended case two years ago for my first Morserino. Now I have a second one but can’t find which case I ordered back then. It was recommended on this site.  Anyone got any ideas?  It was a nice foam padded zippered case that the Morserino just fit into.  It was on eBay or Amazon. My purchase list doesn’t go back that far.

Are you a cheapskate like me? Need a couple of magnetic work lights? Then search on that rain forest site for grill lights! A recent search found Revive Outdoors brand showing the case. Mine came in that cheap plastic case with a foam liner that fits the Morserino perfectly! My earphones and charging cable just fit in, but not with the light. The case is flimsy, but protects my Morserino for travel in my carry on and at home on my dusty nightstand! So, for 13 bux you can get 2 lights and a super cheap case for some night-time cw! Did I mention cheap?
Good luck all, es

Looks good but I would like to have an identical copy of the first case. Even the foam insert fit perfectly without modification.  So far no replies.   It was cheap too, $9.00 I think.

I'm new, so I can't help with what was recommended years ago, but probably a picture could help someone!
Amazon (at leas here in Italy) let's you list orders by year, and you can go backwards many years in that way.
For other orders I normally try searching on my email to find an order confirmation email or something similar, this works good if you don't know exactly where you ordered it.

Dave,

could you send a photo of this case?

A couple of suggestions:
1] Here in the UK you can also go back on your Amazon orders several years to identify a particular item you bought previously or even a supplier if not Amazon itself.
2] If you 'saw' or heard it on here then why not do some searches on either the subject itself or alternatively, and assuming you were part of the original conversation, on your own posts. Both are very easily possible.

Kind Regards
Rachael

Dave,

Thread #2254  shows a case from Harbor Freight that may work for you:

#2254: https://morserino.groups.io/g/main/message/2254?p=,,,20,0,0,0::Created,,protective+case,20,2,0,78245611

Apache 1800 case: https://www.harborfreight.com/1800-weatherproof-protective-case-small-64550.html

Hope that helps.

PS: I bought my TT Scout from you!

So I went with whatever I had on hand. Right now it is a 1liter snapware container (approx $3). It holds my morserino, a phone charger, a pair of headphones, and my American Morse DCP. It is a good little kit.
